The darkness supercedes the light,
Day swallowed wholly by the night.
Dead men walk the broken paths
Of the angels thwarted wraths.
Would you tread where few have dared?
Wander where her thoughts are shared?
Could you face the visions shown?
Love the gift of madness known?
Taste the blood that ever flows
From a wrist where no wound shows.
Stigmata granting the divine,
Letting all the harsh light shine.
Go with her to lands afar,
Touching on a distant star.
There she'll grant you her own sight
Of the colours soft and bright.
Will your mind handle the task?
Granting all that truth will ask?
Could you bear the burden given?
Or to lies again be driven?
Violet eyes upon you rest.
Surely you would not dare jest.
Call her crazy, yes, it's so.
The mad just have so much to know.
