His mind racing
Always pacing
'Is it worth it" he ponders
slowly walking as his mind wanders
He has to put bread on the table
And pay for the cable
He does what he does
It's simple beacause
The family that's his to take care of
He decides he must do his job
His shadowy figure walks onto the scene
With his mind that is so very keen
The killer sees a little girl
A victim of her own fantasy world
He knows that the time is right
This cruel hunt must end now, tonight
As he fires the blood pours onto the floor
As the crying man walk out the door
"I'm sorry poor child" he thinks in his head
For the little girl is hurt, maybe dead
When outside he throws his gun
Knowing what a terrible thing he has done
