You can not see past a smile
But
Lurking behind is someone in pain and in need of help
But
Is yet too afraid
So their feelings hide in fear of the ones they loves
For no one can help them make there choice
Except for that person
They wear black to signal depression
But
They wear a cross to signal hope
They are not emo or Goth
But a person with feelings
They see themselves with a new name
Their names are passion, love, and hope
They do not tell you this for they hide their feelings behind
A smile

omg i totally get this poem. i love writing poems so i usually write poems like this. ive been through this kind of stuff where you have to fake everything to keep the ones you love worry free and happy. and what you say is true, behind my smile is all black.
