Rock-a-bye baby,
In the treetop,
When the wind Blows,
The cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks,
The cradle will fall,
But my dear baby,
That isn’t all,
The earth is a world,
A big and scary place,
Only I seem to protect,
With tender embrace,
But I won’t be here forever,
It’s time that you knew,
All the danger,
That surrounds you.
Some people in this world,
See bright and shining light,
A better future for us all,
What a shimmering delight,
But others they see color,
Gender and Height,
It is these people,
You must surely fight.
They will put simple words,
Deep into your head,
Eating your innocence,
Until it is dead,
A single kiss means so much more,
No longer running to my door,
For I am gone and the earth is yours,
But even then there is more.
Rock-a-bye baby,
The world needs your hand,
The love I instilled in you,
Spread across the land.
So as the wind blows,
Time seeps away,
Please my sweet baby,
Make a better today.
Rock-a-bye...
