The silence lingers
anticipating
Thoughtless hours hover
over me

into the Darkness
Mouth falls
as I'm counting
The anxiety listens
shouting
Nightmares creep closer
to me
and
pull
me into the Darkness
Body aches
as I'm screaming
The heartaches clenches
redeeming
Hopes grab hold
of me
and
pull
me
out of the Darkness....
