.. good intentions laced on acid tongues
are pointless from razor blade lips
the consisitancy of pure hearts die
when beats are skipped
in this shattered world
where whispers are to undo
it's easy to forget what used to mean the most to you
REMEMBER that night
REMEMBER that kiss
REMEMBER that look
REMEMBER these lips
REMEMBER those words
REMEMBER flying free
REMEMBER that touch
REMEMBER who you used to be And even though this life's a play no one's who they say to be
Someday when the curtain calls you'll remember me.
