The trickles of time
Slowly fade with much anticipation
I am my worst critic
Faced with temptation
Because happiness is partisan
In this judgemental world
The few stable emotions
Have yet to unfurl
Wishing upon a wish
That the stars would fall
And this oceanic abyss
Would take over and recall
In the bliss we once lived
How chafed we remained
Imprinted into the snow
Our outlet retained
The tears tried to roll
But this time I stayed strong
Glued my eyes shut
New sense of right and wrong
Not fully there yet
I'm still looking for ways
Maybe, just maybe, someday
I will conquer this phase
With rare days outlasting
We all start to glow
Few days, the passing
Burrowed in sorrow
Hanging from the cleft
I wished to be held again
Save me from myself
For that will be the end

- This is deep. I only wish that I had this talent. God. Now I feel slightly stupid, but in a good way, because this is amazing. Possibly one of my favorite of your peices.
