• I watched him die in my arms,
Watched him falter, watched him paled.
I felt him die in my arms,
Felt his heart stop, last breath inhaled,
I let him die in my arms,
I thought I failed, though i never bailed.
There he laid, right in the farm,
My tears on his face, my mother wailed.
I loved him, held him in my arms,
My friend, my brother, laid impaled.
Rare beasts, he'd seen in swarms,
The seven seas, The world he sailed.
"Those poachers won't do any more harm."
I said, my tears like trains derailed.
He met death in open arms,
Life he had embraced, Death he hailed.
