The sun shines brightly on the grounds
Beneath the shadows of the house,
The foreboding semblance of uncertainty and fear
I stay in the small shed on the side
Small and safe
Safe and small
The plants are my charges
I care for them and they show me their beauty
The master is pleased
I care for the dogs
They are always angry
The master is pleased
Buster is my favorite dog
The hedges are my favorite plant
They are my only friends
Barking
The dogs need to be fed
To feed the dogs I need the suit my master says
The mask is itchy
The dogs are mangy and ugly
I care for them
I tell the master
He says they are fine
***************
Buster bit me the other day
Blood
He ripped through the suit
I tell the master
He says I am fine
He says I don’t need the suit anymore
The bite itchy
I feel strange
The dogs are nice to me now
Buster is always smiling
The plants are nice to me
They are so funny
They make me laugh
The bite is itchy
I scratch it
The gray skin falls off
I fell strange
Master called me
He sent me to the basement with the dogs
He said promotion
I’m
happy
I’m hungry
I see Buster all the time now
Busters nice
He tasty
Itchy
Hungry

- Very eloquent! I like the way that it changes him slowly throughout the poem. It is very good, and I am thoroughly impressed! Congradulations!
