-
The wind was strong,
The night was long.
The ground was soaked in dew,
That's when I spotted you.
Perfect in every way,
In night, you seemed like day.
A crash of thunder.
A streak of light.
I ran to you with all my might.
No good it did,
Because I slid.
"No!" I called as you fled,
I felt my head to finde I've bled.
"Come with me" I perswaded,
Even though we both were dated.
You ran away,
You could never stay.
From a path I ever did stray,
"Why?" I ask each day.

-
it lost rhythm at the word perswaded.
not because its misspelled but because of the amount of syllables
its still very good.
