If Death is heaven
Then Earth must be hell
First you left me for another
Then her for me
I was confused and sad
But at the same time happy
Happy that you came back for me
Then you left the land entirely
And took my heart and soul with you
To the place they call death's gate
Though you did leave me with him
Oh he looks just like you
Every time I look at him I weep
I weep for me
I weep for you
I weep for the us that was never meant to be
And I weep for him who will never see his father
Until he too reaches death's gate
And this I pray will never happen to another
For this is the Confessions of a Teenage Mother.

Wow...this paints quiet the picture and gets the message across...
Question, if I can ask: are you a teenage mother? You don't have to answer. - Report As Spam

- Poetry doesn't have to rhyme, nor rhyme perfectly. Good use of tone.
