Have you ever felt alone
When you know youre truly not
And any little thing can make you break down
No matter how insignificant?

Those are the worst days
Because nothing seems to heal the pain
"Put on a fake smile for everyone else" they say
But how long will that mask remain?

Need to tell, just scream it out
But I can't in fear of disapproval
I feel like they're giving up on me
Or maybe I'm giving up on them?

But to myself I cannot lie
No matter how much I want to
There are certain things that just take time
And I guess I'll have to suffer
