I call out, but no one
hears me.
I search for someone,
But I find no one.
I call out in the distance but
only silence is returned.
I find myself alone,
but I don’t believe it.
I look and look,
but find no one.
Am I truly alone?
No! No! No! There is someone out there!
Again I call out, but again only
silence returns my call.
I am truly alone in silence.
