My hero isn't someone you'd see,
Flying up high above the clouds.
My hero is someone that I greet every morning,
With her hair just as messed up as mine,
While we groggily drink our cups of coffee
And wait 'till it's a quarter till 8 to get ready.
She held me through deaths and deceiving,
And pushed me to work harder on everything.
Motivate me.
She is always by my side.
I see her in the glossy eyes of others,
And the shiny windows surrounding.
c**k my head and raise a brow,
She mimics my moves like we are one,
But only I know that we are polar opposites.
I am the spring warmth, and she is the winter cold.
She can stand up and oppose,
While I sit and stare, without a peep.
She is my hero because she is brave.
How I wish I could become like her,
But she won't allow me.
Tells me I'm perfect this way.
I still strive to be her.
My other side, my hero.

- I really like how you play with your words, and how you can tell it's something untangeable from the beginning, but you don't know what it is.

- That's a really good poem, Dark Mad Hatter Mistress, your words are descriptive and teasing at the same time, it's great just the way it is.
