Two cars in the driveway and I’m the only one home.
Mom’s with some friends,
Dad’s out for a ride.
Do either of them know that they’ve shattered my pride?
Do they even miss me?
Me, who’s in my jeans and black shirts.
With my crosses and chains.
A bangle on my wrist,
A choker at my throat.
Me in my leather jacket,
Sitting at home with the dogs.
All dressed up with no place to go?

- Title: Two Cars in the Driveway
- Artist: Touch of Grey37
- Description: I'm not a very social person, so my parents don't bother to ask if I want to go anywhere. If I need to leave the house, I get on a bus and go. I wrote this one day, a few years ago, when I'd actually WANTED to go with them, but they didn't even realize that I was there.

Just the kind of poem I like,
One that is about real life. - Report As Spam

- wow thats really sad. im so sorry. just because you not super social doesn't mean you don't have a life, and your parent should know that. The poem is great though!
