    When you sit down,
    Thinking you’re all by yourself,
    And you see a girl,
    Just a girl,
    Sitting in the corner,
    And reading a book,
    With dark, horn-rimmed glasses,
    And you turn away,
    But decide look back,
    And she’s suddenly
    Not there anymore,
    That’s me.

    When you are outside,
    Watching the cars fly by,
    And for a brief second,
    A beat up van whooshes by,
    A girl sprawled in the back,
    Hunched over a Gameboy,
    And wearing an old green jacket,
    Smiling,
    That’s me!
