• Description: This is a poem i wrote the night my dad walked on on my life. and i was left with one of his friends. it was late sept. of '07 and i was crying when i wrote this. he came home one night at around 10pm...and then he told me he cant take the stress anymore...then he left. i didnt see him for almost 4 months. then he came back because, if there was anything more unbearable than the stress, it was being away from his kid.

Within a girl's room
She weeps and sobs.
Within a girl's room,
her head, it throbs.
Within a girl's room,
she takes a pin.
Within a girl's room,
she pierces her skin.
Within a girl's room,
she screams out in pain.
Within a girl's room,
she cries just the same.
Within a girl's room,
she falls down.
Within a girl's room,
she hits the ground.
Within a girl's room,
she lies in her blood.
Within a girl's room,
her lungs start to flood.
Within a girl's room,
her parents stand.
Within a girl's room,
they each hold hands.
Within a girl's room,
they weep and sob.
Within a girl's room,
they pray to God.

Within a girl's room,
the words are seen.
written across the floor,
Within a girl's room,
you will see this:
"Within a girl's room,
her life is taken.
Within a girl's room,
her hearts been breakin'.
Within a girl's room,
you wanted me gone.
Within a girl's room,

did i prove you wrong?"
