• I stepped out into the sun's light
    It shone so brilliant
    It shone so bright
    I watched it flicker
    Against the night sky
    The shadows began to shrink back
    Wither and die
    But just then I noticed
    A tiny little dot
    And my eyes began to burn
    My flesh began to rot
    And suddenly I saw around me
    The world was in disarray
    Time slowly started stopping
    With us left to decay
    I tried to reach out to someone
    Left within the drought
    With unanswered prayers they tried and fought
    While above the sun went out
