• Our lives are sheets of colored glass,
    they shatter when we die.

    They crack with a heartbreak,
    they break when we cry.

    But to some,
    the end comes too soon.

I sit now on the shards,
    the remnants of my past.

    I wear a mask,
    to fool you all.

It paints my face with happiness,
    happiness I do not deserve.

    My sheet is shattered,
and it caused too much hurt.
