"Accidental Overdose"
Press another pill in your mouth
It will break the pain
Drooping in your bed at home
Observing the rain
Watch the little kids playing
And smile with disdain
They don't remember you
They never came
Swallow clear, tasteless water to wash the pill down
And lacking any strain
Your throat let's it slide down
Your body thinks it's the same
As all the other times you took the pills
But your heart realizes you're playing by a different game
Let your eyes slam close
And let your body register
Your "accidental overdose"
