what happens to a poet's mind?
after it's been used and betrayed?
when he is broken and disgraced?
He is fragmented, his soul shattered in shards
but he saw it coming, it was in the cards
he willingly destroyed his purest part
to begin a journey no man dares to embark
to embrace something beyond his comprehension
to do something far beyond his limits!
So now a tattered soul remains
a glued up mind trapped inside a brain
his blood is the only substance he'll use
to convey his artistic view
