and they only talk down/
and all their words hurt it's just like i'm getting moved around/

but i can take it/

they won't let me believe in life/
they won't let me believe what's right/
they won't let me believe my heart instead of my mind/
they won't let me believe in my soul/
but there's nothing here that i know/
i just wanna go back to my life where i am me/
where i am free/

they don't let me think/
that a hero is real/
then how do you explain all this pain i feel/
i can't always be right/
but i can always try my best/
and hope that maybe i can put all their words to rest/

you only need to include slashes if you're quoting poetry in prose without offsetting it from the prose. the words are all trite and over-played, regardless of my stance on magic...
