I lay here, in the grass on a cool summer night
and I gaze up into the sky, and see a flickering light
I watch in amazment, as it falls to the ground
and with blinding light, and a defaning sound,
it lands closeby, as I stare at the sight,
a fallen star, on a cool summer night.
