As I walked to gate,
My feelings in a bottle inside me,
3 little puppys all choclate brown,
Came rushing to the fence,
Jumping up and down.
2 are boys,
the owner told me.
1 is a girl.
the girl was shoved behind her brothers,
and whined to me.
I asked to hold her,
she squealed and screamed in the man's arms,
Until I whispered,
"It's all right now"
I talked to my mom.
I got her that day.
I said there is no other,
Mom even decided,
To get her snow white mother.

awww this was cute! >//< I love puppies and I thought you described them well here! I have to disagree with the comment below, though, because I do think this classifies as a poem. A poem doesn't have to be written a certain way, it's however you choose to express your emotions. So, I think this is a good poem and you captured the moment just right. XD 5/5

it's a cute story but it lacks in the department of "what makes writing poetry." there's nothing really that distinguishes this from a blog post with a gratuitous use of the 'enter' key.
