Unconditional Love
The world seems to stumble, tumble, and roll
It appears that each day I lose more of my soul
I'm lost and afraid, I don't know what to do
I cry, and I sigh, and I scream out for you
But you ignore me, it's like I'm not even there
Would it hurt you just once to pretend to care?
You said you would be there for me, but you left
You destroyed my hope, left me bereft
I weep and mourn for the loss of you, though I don't know why
Everyone tells me that your betrayal shouldn't make me cry
I don't understand why I feel as I do
But, Mom, I still love you.

- Title: Unconditional Love
- Artist: Enchanted-By-Death
- Description: A poem about a love that even the worst of things can't destroy. Maybe one day I'll let my mum see it, but I'm terrified it may hurt her too much.
