Through a broken world she saw
the Summer change to Fall.
Through the depths of pain
as winter snuck in
Crying to herself again.
Clinging to her frozen world
drowning in the sorrow.
As Light begins to melt the snow
afraid to let it all go.
Forget all of what she was then
but wanting to feel that warmth again.
Trying to ease the pain
as she surfaces the sorrow
Feeling the warmth that Light would bring
letting it all go,
Never to forget the happiness she knew
but learn to love the change life brings
Never to drown again.
