It lingers in the branches high
It lies among the fields of wheat
Hovering between earth and sky
For both it desires to meet
Silently down the mountain it rolls
Till it rest upon the moors
Where lies the creature of shadow's souls
And mischievous moor children lore
When the sun hides its rays
At twilight just before the dawn
Or when the sky is gray
You can hear the eerie song
Of the Mists of Avalon
