I feel it
Slowly creeping upon me
Fleeing from Desperation
Holding fast to the little hope I possess
But I stumble
And it’s gone
He takes his chance, sees the opening
And pounces on me
Desperation multiplies
And I’m taken over by his cousin
Hopelessness
I close my eyes
Letting them take over my body
A tidal wave crashing on me
Possessing and changing me
Until I am no longer myself
But rather
A drone
One that does not feel or react
Just goes with the current
Following programmed movements
And I lose my identity…
I wake, and scream
Only a dream, a nightmare
Then, I turn
And I see them, there they are
Invading my haven of reality
Staring into my eyes, smirking
They’ve got me
I’m trapped
With nowhere to run

- Title: The Dream

Description:
The title was originally, "Running From Which You Cannot Escape." But it apparently won't fit, which sucks major eggs. So here's the new title. I wrote this when I was seriously depressed about some stuff going on in my life. If you're smart enough, you may be able to decipher it and know what it's about. But for the other people who can't figure it out, if you really want to know, just PM me.
Oi, and this is my first submission. Please be nice. Constructive critism is welcomed with open arms. - Date: 07/16/2008

It was alright.
I mean, I didn't really care for it.
I don't really know what specifics I would change other than restarting the entire thing.
