The Moon's Light

It is a cold night....darkness and loneliness start to consume me...
I cry...all I want is to stop being alone...
Then a crack of light attracts my attention to my window
I look out and see the moon and it's wonderful light
Suddenly I remember that the night isn't so dark
That he can see the moon too...that everyone can...
As my sobs start to dim I remember that one day I'll be in his arms
That this lonelyness is just like a demon in the darkness that weighs on my heart
Finally the tears and the sobs stop....I know it is okay to sleep
I know that the light of day will greet me when I awake
I smile and whisper to myself "I love you Matt..."
And then I drift off to be with him in my dreams....

It has a few spelling errors.
Lonelyness is wrong. It's LONELINESS.
Aloun is wrong. It's ALONE.
"Ways on my heart..." It's "WEIGHS" on my heart...

Also, the moon itself doesn't have light. It reflects the sunslight since at night the moon goes in front of the sun.

But I like your poem!
I gave it a 5/5 because the core of this poem was original and sincere.
