My angel fell from filthy skies
I fell from hell into his eyes
Love and hate and shades of gray
Nevermore to fly away
Evil words that shatter glass
Rob my angel of his past
Come with me to visit sin
Angels never rise again
But who's to say it isn't right
Why can't darkness love the light?
All I've ever known of grace
Was written on his troubled face
Slipped and fell right into love
My treasure's trash from up above
He carries me on broken wings
He's teaching demons how to sing

- This is VERY nice. Sing-songy, pretty, touching. This is a great two lines "All I've ever known of grace/ Was written on his troubled face." Just nicely done. The only stanza I feel could be worked on is the third one. It seems a little cheesy and out of place with the beautiful imagery of the poem.

- Nice stuff, my favourites lines are: "Evil words that shatter glass, rob my angel of his past".

- i think it's pretty good. you did well on the rhyming. the only problem was the meter. other than that, it's great! but i'm going to have to give you a 4/5

- It is decent poetry, trying writing some that doesn't need ryhme, and focus on your meter more. The meter makes a good piece of poetry excellent

- Meh...I doubt you think its cliche but it sounds cliche to me. Even though the description doesn't, the way the poem is written it does. And some rhymes sound forced.
