I’m not afraid of death per say
"I am not afraid of the dark,"
pulses steadily out into the hall,
a fluff-filled guardian
squashed in my baby-grip.
"I am not afraid of spiders,"
cries out across the yard.
Hands pose as Superman,
knees playing tambourines.
"I am not afraid of needles,"
drips down into nearby ears.
Coughing, I assert that I simply
cannot give blood with a cold.
"I am not afraid of heights,"
Crawls forward across the abyss.
My back is straight and confident,
my feet are inching backwards.
"I am not afraid of death,"
slides out across my life.
Nonetheless, I never forget to
buckle my seatbelt.

- Description: It old, but I have a particular fondness for this one, though it's a lot more direct than my usual work. Feel free to leave comments and criticism. :]

Thanks Mythic Ninja. :3
How do you mean Cherry? I'm a little confused, because I think it lacks subtlety. - Report As Spam

- Well I do like it. It's good. But I think that you could be a little more clear.
