    Lightning is amazing
    Let it dazzle you with its light

    As it flares down to the ground
    It sets the sky ablaze
    Wondering into human eyes
    That it does amaze

    A crisp, crackling sonority
    Crawls into human ears
    Sounds like a fire cracker
    Strikes like a spear

    Causing ridiculous havoc
    Its partner in crime
    Making supersonicbooms
    And a high amplitude chime

    Thunder, of course
    With its drums in the clouds
    In symphony with lighting
    A din for the crowds

    However, lightning still reigns
    A triumph in the act
    From thunders domain
    It’s disbanded from the pact

    Flickering in the air
    It paints the sky to its shade
    Diffusing quickly through the compound
    Like a particle parade

    As different forms and sizes
    It flashes from the atmosphere
    Strong and bold
    Yet majestic and sincere

    Lightning is natural
    Lightning is strife
    Lightning is triumphant
    Lightning is life.
