A heart is where our feelings are, yet so fast to break

All this time we had together, my soul I gave to you
Even through all the struggles, my soul I gave to you

When we started talking, I knew you challenged me
When I thought I was strong, I knew you challenged me

As the days, weeks and months past, my heart grew for you
All the times you shared yourself, my heart grew for you

Little stories of our lives, many smiles shared
Cutesy little antidotes, many smiles shared

All those times I was feeling down, you showed you cared
When I did something stupid, you showed you cared

Then I gave myself to you, you said yes
All the future laid out for us, you said yes

And when the day came around, you said goodbye
and as I dropped and fell apart, that's when my heart died.

I like your poem, it reveals the truth under each point in a relationship. Where is the commitment, it can be broken at any minute. This is very good. Keep writing.

You can really feel the pain in this... I can only imagine what it was like. The repetition really ephazies each point per stanza, and you can really feel the burning imagrey from this.
