Such a tiny creature can fill me with so much hope,
Give me a glowing feeling of comfort and security inside,
Its wings a soft black,
With pastel blues and purles,
Caught in the web of a spider,
It has no hope for life,
Yet it still struggles,
It wont give up,
And good thing it didnt,
I reach down and rip the web away,
A satisfiying feeling creeps over me,
The butterfly flys away after tending to his wings,
I smile and turn around to see the spider making a new web,
He's a tad thin,
I'll bring him some crickets tommorow,
There's enough crickets in the world anyway.
