A women in a dark green cape stepped through the fog into a deserted graveyard. Lowering the hood on her cape to let her long dark brown hair flow. She Made her way down one the aisles of grave stones stopping in front of one, she kneeled in front of it, placing a single red rose on the grave stone. Knowing that she shouldn’t be out this early so close to sunrise or even out at all with them after her, and that she should still be running no where close to here. They would probably come to this place and look for her here but she didn’t t care. She needed this. Its all she had left of her past life the live that she once lived. A life full of joy and happiness with the first man that she loved. Its been two hundred years. He’s been gone for two hundred years. After all that time of running, fighting and being alone thinking she could survive one night of coming here alone and unprotected foolishly she sat in front of the grave stone unaware of her surroundings. She sniffed the air catching a particular scent As a shiver ran down her spine. ”Victor so you’ve finally decided to do your own dirty work instead of sending your minions to come and get me.” A intense power radiated from every where confusing her as to where he was. “Now ,Lady Violet you knew that we would find you.” Violet stood up and shrugged off the cap. “You’ve found me several times yet I manage to escape so don’t sound so cocky but then again you’ve never came after me your self. You always hide behind your minions just like a scared little boy behind his momma’s skirt.” She knew she shouldn’t have said for he was the reason that she was running. “Well you never did make it difficult for you to be found and after my minions as you put them failures I’ve decided to do it myself now you know you can’t go against what I say so don’t even try to run away.” Slowly the shadows of at least a dozen figures appeared around her in a circle. Looking around the circle she tried to find a means of escape. The intense power increased as the figure behind her moved closer to her. She turned towards the man that was heading her way. When she tried to run away she found that her body wouldn’t obey what her mind was telling her to do. All she was able to do was stare at the all to familiar face that belonged to the man that use to hold so much love and warmth for her but now the only thing that was in his eyes was a cold distant look and a hatred that was never there before. Slowly the man moved closer to her till he was only a few inches away from her face. “You know that you can’t resist so don’t even try to you know that you have to obey what ever I say for you to do.” The man smiled at her attempts to run away. “Now Violet just come so you that you don’t have to be hurt.” Violet looked away from him and stare into the distance. He took advantage of her distraction to press a napkin against her mouth when she tried to breathe she breathed in a weird smell. She recognized the smell Chloroform. Slowly everything started to go black. The last thing she saw was his face which had change so much over the years.
London ,England 1539
On a sunny day if you happened to be in the market at the time near the tools section you would happen to see a slender almost short women with flowing brown hair that still had the shine that most people lost in childhood and Violet almost grey eyes.
Dressed like a commoner she walked around the night market picking out things here and there that was needed for the house. She tried to ignore the voice in the back of her head telling her that someone was watching her. Even though her dad always told her to never go out at night saying that it was dangerous! She shake her head trying to get rid of the feeling. She knew things where cheaper at night though for almost no one ever came out at night. Here dad never told her why though. No one ever told her why all they said is that it was not safe. Now she knew why She felt the hairs on her neck raise. Slowly she turned her head to see that a man was staring at her from the shadows.
Grey eyes shown bright from the fire lit radiating from the torches lit near merchant stalls. She felt like she was being drawn in towards those eyes. The merchant at the stall she was standing in front of asked her if she was going to by anything she blinked . When she opened her eyes he was gone. Shaking her head she just shrugged it off as being a hallucination. Picking up the basket with everything that she bought she made her way back home. She got the feeling that someone was following her again.
Shaking her head she opened the back door to the house and slipped inside placing the basket where the servants would find it in the morning Slowly making her way through the kitchen she made her way up the servants staircase that led to her room. Quickly she made it over to her closet once she made it into her room. Finding the outfit that she wore before she snuck out she slipped back into her room. Being careful not to make a single noise she climbed back into her bed.
That’s when she noticed a single black rose with a red ribbon tied around it laid on the mantle above the fireplace in her room.Thinking that one of the maid placed it there she laid back down and closed her eyes, falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.“Milady wake up the master wishes to speak to you.”Violet slowly sat up and looked at the window. ”It’s not even sunrise yet what is that could be so important.” The maids all looked at each other. “The master doesn’t confide in us milady we are only servant.” Violet climbed out the bed and made her way to the closet and put on the dress that the maid picked out. “Did any of you put a black rose on the mantle yesterday night.”The maid looked at her with a look of confusion. “What rose.”
