Why is it so rare, for just a selected few, a sliver of those who seek, to become subjected to wonders beyond a vivid imagination?
In this way, which creates the unbelievably factor, is a wonder itself. Those that seek may never find, and those that find are treated as strange and fantastic wonderers, or are said to have simply been taking drugs. Only those who seek may somewhat believe, and then even the doubt is always gnawing at the back of one's mind.
Why can't everyone simply put aside the clawing doubts eating away at imagination, to stop thinking "I can't", and just believe? In a world like that, the selected few of doubters would be treated as the freaks and outsiders. In a world like that, everything would be as it isn't, and nothing would be like it is. Everyone, instead of striving to be the same, would choose to try harder to be different, thus making everyone the same in very opposing yet harmonious ways, the contradicting would agree while continuing to disagree, the impossible would indeed compromise with the possible. The smart would continue to be so, and the dumb would be considered just as intelligent. Reasoning would cease to exist yet in a sense everything would be reasonable. The unexplainable will continue on with the inability to be explained, but yet be completely understood. One may not re-read this paragraph, trying to decipher it, and instead just simply agree with every word, smiling as they know exactly what it is saying yet having no idea. Strange would no longer be so; everything being familiar, but never been seen before, incomprehensible, yet can be comprehended. People would know themselves more then they had not in the past, and others would know ones they never really met. Everything so insensible would be understandable. There will be sense within nonsense.
But with humans, the only entrance to this world is destroying oneself. Humans only comprehend through experience, and experiences are usually eroding. Once completely eroded, nothing is left but complete understanding of the nature of everything. But what would be the use, since that one is destroyed? The world would not be influenced, and they themselves could not enjoy their newfound knowledge. However, there are a few that may come to brush with total destruction, catching a glimpse of that world, and gaining full knowledge through that simple blur. And yet another sliver of a few, may gain complete understanding through the simple idea of this world brought on by once that glimpsed it. All of these are a rare and special few, ones that don't care that their new beliefs will have them shunned, because their new completeness will render them able to brush all troubles off. Their new attitude of complete unity. If only, we can only wish, that everyone was like this. Someday perhaps…
