-A Treatise on why I Hate Date-Cyberers-
(Written after spending too long in Rally)
Before you laugh, please read what i have to say:
Let me first begin by explaining what a "Date-cyberer" is. You've probably seen them around, in game chats, Rally, Hollywood (In-fact, they are the reason why i can't handle going into Hollywood anymore, The sheer thickness of them in Hollywood makes me nauseous)
They are this: Some horny, pubescent 12-16 year old boy who go's from room to room trying to get girls, any girls, to cyber with them, by making them believe they love them on the spot or sheer persistancy. Now, i seem to be alone with my hate for these... kids. From where i am, and what I've seen of the Gaia community, most people only view them as a nuisance, but please, listen in to what i have to say...
I hate these people. Hate 'em. Some of you, who I've let on to my ideas and beliefs on the affects of love on the conscious and sub-conscious mind will be kind of surprised by this, but this is where i stand.
Let me tell you a story, its a true story, but I'm keeping it vague, for the sake of others. Lets call the girl in this story Alex.
- I met Alex about the first week of playing Gaia, probably about my 7th day of playing Gaia. This was in rally, where i normally hang when bored, and i struck up a conversation with a girl beside me.
This girl (Named Alex) Had just started playing gaia two or so days ago, and this was her first time in rally, and i began explaining how rally worked. She seemed a nice girl, 13 years old, friends convinced her to try Gaia ect. We hit a little lull in the conversation, and without missing a beat, some kid walks up (without a shirt on of course, they never seem to) and says the amazingly smooth line of "Lol ur cute l0l",
Now... back then, i didn't have this burning dislike for these kids, i didn't even know what they were at the time. But after a few more lines of this and one or two "I love you lol"s later it was obvious what this little p***k was after. I was supposing that Alex was just playing along, but after he suggested that they go look at his "Way cool house" and she accepted, i knew she was taken in by this heap of garbage. Now i was worried, so i sent her a PM telling her that the kid was probably just trying to cyber her. I got one back, saying that she had never cybered before, and that he loved him, and that "Her friends said its fun" crap... She didn't PM me till the next day, and when i asked her what happened all she said was *we broke up* and nothing else on the subject, though we still talked a bit for a week.
Around that time i decided to join her while she was in rally, and i saw that she was walking around doing that whole "Any cute guys looking for a hot GF come to my house " Bit, and i... well, i was worried and concerned, as i usually am. I asked her what se was doing, and why. I remember i embarrised her pretty badly. she said looking to cyber, and that she was bored and lonely.
I dont really know if the original kid led to this, she could have very well lied to me about herself, in-fact its a distinct possablility, but... look around you! The cause is the same, regardless of the effect. Some god-damn horny kid trying to convince girls that they love them to get into thier pants! This happens every day, constantly, to girls who don't have any realization, or sometimes any self esteem to say no! And this angers me! I hate these kids with a burning passion! It go's against everything i believe in!
Now, i honestly want to know, do you agree with me? Am i paranoid? Do you notice this problem?

- Oh my God, I love you. xDDD And that only means I agree with you completely. I can't say much (I have no time), but these kids are so stupid. Your post pretty much summed up what I have to say. I know plenty of people who have had a similar experience, and I feel truly sorry for that girl.
