I felt alone.
The metal mirror bed that I was sitting on was cold and smooth.
The blue dress they put on me was just a bit too revealing.
The injection they put in my vein didn't have any effect;
so, naturally, they hit the back of my head to knock me out.
I saw some stars. They were shooting at me.
The bear came in growling like a lion and running like a cheetah.
Oh the pain, bring in all the pain, because the pain makes me feel.
Feeling again, oh how I've longed to feel, makes me happy.
Even through pain, the extreme pain, so much pain,
I can't believe how many times I just said "pain" because that
is how much I am feeling it.
The room becomes a warp to another dimension;
the dimension became snow, and the snow was only on my back.
There were red skies, and blue giants running all over the place,
and the my abdomen was the sun.
As tangible as the words from my mouth, the iron seeks to burn
and burn and burn.....
Every little detail, every little thing, must be accounted for; it's all
connected like some type of connect-a-dot puzzle overbearing my palms.
Did you hear that? It is a constant beep. All is black, yet I hear this distinct beep.
Beep......Beep......Beep.....Beep......Beep.....BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
I open my eyes.
I see the light.
I see the light from above.
"Son? I need you to sleep for now. Can you hear me? Nurse I need....."
The voice fades.
The voice returns.
".....stat. This kid needs some IV. Son, can you hear me? If you can hear me
please move or do something."
I blink.
"He blinked. It seems he is going to be alright."
I pass out.
The joker, the queen of hearts, and the Jack o' Lantern all smiled at me.
Purple pills, red pills, black pills; I had to take all of these at once.
I woke up for the last time.
My abdomen was in severe pain; I was sore yet I didn't want to go to sleep.
The doctor came in and said something I didn't understand. I wasn't paying attention;
I was too busy contemplating what I had seen in my dreams, whether it was real or
a dream.
The doctor smiled at me and left.
He didn't understand that I had just witnessed the miracle that is God.
