• I was in my creative writing class in my junior year and we had a sub for the day. Now, the class is usually really laid back so me and my friends were just chilling out, talking, stuff like that. For kicks, I start talking in a British accent. I talked like that the entire hour and then towards the end of class, the sub walks over, takes a seat and goes, "So, when did you first come to the U.S.?" Me and my friends start laughing hysterically and I had to try and explain in between fits of laughter that I wasn't British and that it was just a pretend accent. She sat there completely surprised saying she could usually always tell when someone was faking it.
    I guess I'm a natural. wink
