it was 2 a.m. A Friday morning , Friday the thirteenth, but this was no ordinary morning for
the Randall family. Ms. Randall was a single mother. She had been widowed at the age of
39. While her kids ,ages nine and ten, never really got over their father’s death nor received
justice. With them lived “uncle Jeff” and “cousin Lucy”. Ms. Randall began tossing and
turning in her sleep finally she awoke to see before her face a terrifying sight a demon with
red glowing eyes and skin as black as death its self. He had an expression on his face that
suggested he was always angry, and not once had he felt any other emotion. Her eyes
widened she began to scream but she found her mouth quickly covered by the demon. Her
eyes widened even wider, she was terrified. “Shhh,” he said in a low growling voice “if you
want to find out who killed your husband you’ll shut your mouth.” he said in the same tone.
She immediately stopped trying to scream and he took his hand off her mouth. He smiled a
devious smile, it scared Ms. Randall so but she knew she must keep quiet. Immediately the
demon disappeared and suddenly Ms. Randall began shaking violently and fell to the floor.
After about 20 minutes of violent shaking her eyes briefly glowed a piercing red. Her hair
hung over her face and her head tilted slightly downwards she moved as if she had no
control over her own body. She began walking in that fashion slowly towards her door and
turned the knob opening the door to find a knife had been placed outside of it. The knife
she always kept hidden in the top shelf of the closet in a box and only used on rare
occasions to carve meat. She picked it up and twisted it around fiddling with it in her hands.
“NO!!!” she screamed “yes.” She said in a voice that used no emotion and smiled. Her feet
moved slowly towards her little girls room slowly trudging along, knife in hand pointed
downwards Her feet moved slowly towards her little girls room slowly trudging along, knife
in hand pointed downwards. Then began walking towards her daughters bed, who then
awoke.” mommy? “She said still half asleep rubbing her eyes. “mommy? No. This is not
mommy.” She smiled a menacing grin and began zig zagging around towards little Delilah
laughing hysterically knife in hand. Suddenly awoken by the noise Lucy came in the room
“What are you guys..... “She stopped in the middle of her sentence noticing the knife.Ms
. Randall slowly turned around changing her target from Delilah to Lucy. Ms. Randall flung
the knife at Lucy and it plunged deep into her chest. She died immediately, eyes wide. Ms.
Randall slowly trudged toward Lucy's body and pulled out the knife, blood then began to flow
out of Lucy and onto the floor. she then walked with the bloody knife towards Delilah once
more. Delilah shivering in her covers, then began crying knowing she could not win. Ms.
Randall then reached her and chopped off her head which then fell to the floor along with
her lifeless body. She then walked back out into the hallway she had awoken her son, who
was standing outside his room which was about the middle of the hallway while Delilah’s
was at the end. She began slowly trudging towards him her head hanging in the same
fashion she saw the look of terror on his face as he noticed the knife. “It’s ok sweetie,
mommy’s taking you home know with daddy.” she said in her normal voice as her voice
then shook , trying to calm herself down. Her brother then plunged a knife into her back and
she fell to the ground, blood seeping out of her body.” YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!!!” He
screamed at his uncle.” IF I HADN'T WE BOTH KNOW HOW WE WOULD HAVE ENDED
UP!!! “He cried his voice shaking. He ran to his uncle and began crying in his arms.
The end.
