“Wake up sleepy head.”
“Mm…, just a couple more minutes,” I said.
“If you don’t get up now you’re going to be late.”
With a sigh I rolled over, “You know waking you up was usually my job,” I said my voice layered with humor.
“My have the tables have turned, get up coffee is ready, and I have to leave for a board meeting in five.”
Pulling the covers off and swing my legs off the side of the bed I rose up and walked over to the closet where April was putting on her blazer.
“As always you look amazing,” I said. She was dressed in a nice Calvin Klein pencil skirt and blouse the hugged her curves and a Dolce navy blazer to add contrast.
Turning away from the closet mirror she glanced at me giving me a once over with a slight blush adding color to her nice pale cheeks. “As do you, who knew a birthday suit* was a new form of dress,” she sarcastically responded.
Laughing I wrapped my arms around her, “Do you like what you see?”
“You know I do,” she said blushing and even deeper red.
Kissing her deeply, she sighed, “What’s wrong did I exhaust you too much last night,” I asked. With a smirk she responded, “No, I just wish I had more time and didn’t have to go to this stupid meeting.”
Giving her a quick peak I stepped back a little with my arms still resting on her waist. “Well no worries you can have more time with me later,” I said kissing her again, stepping around her I reached for my robe that was hanging on the hook on the back of the closet door.
“You do have a point,” she said with a sick glint in her eyes. She proceeded to leave grabbing her briefcase and purse as she continued walking towards the bedroom door.
“What does that look mean,” I asked watching her hips sway in the stiletto heels as she walked towards the bedroom door.
“Oh you just have to wait and see Jessica,” she said with a smirk as she walked out the bedroom door, “I will see you later, I love you.”
“Love you to April,” I said, also adding, “don’t be late.”
With a quick laugh as I heard the front door open, “trust me I won’t she said just be for she shut the front door.”
“Oh I can’t wait,” I said to myself as I walked out the closet, “I can’t wait,” I murmured to myself again as I walked to the adjacent bathroom for a nice cold shower.
