The sunlight was fading, a starry sky taking form over the landscape. A young woman sat at her window, watching out at the night sky silently, her dress white looking elegant and almost like water within the coming moonlight. Her face was almost unreadable as she stared out the window silently. She could hear a small tune in her mind, listening to the small tune of a young woman singing with a foreign accent.(song is she hears: Secret by Megurine and The Mad Hatter by Kamui Gakupo) She closed her eyes slowly, listening to the things around her.
Things were quiet, the evening peaceful for now. After some minutes she opened her eyes slowly, hearing the soft stir of the horses below in their stable pens. Sighing softly she slowly stood, turning her back to the window, stepping lightly over to the chair that held her cloak draped over the back. Suddenly the curtains whipped inside, the wind blowing strongly, blowing her down hair about her face to in front of her. Her eyes widened feeling this and moved to turn but was met by a blade to her throat, causing her to freeze in place.
"A what a beautiful princess we have. So sweet to see someone who cares." The person whispered, cooing into her ear. "Do you know what time it is? It's almost time for the gate of metal to become open once more and to be unlocked by the chosen blood." The woman whispered to the princess's ear before whispering a name, "Victoria don't you agree?" she cooed softly before gently stepping backwards from the princess Victoria. Quickly Victoria turned to try and see the woman's face only to see nothing there except a whisper of smoke fading from sight.
Victoria's body was shaking from this experience, the wind returning to normal. Her hands went instantly to her chest, at the base of her neck, closed together. She worked to calm her breather so to not pass out or anything. Once calm she slowly continued on her way, taking hold of her cloak, placing it on and left her room, heading downstairs to check on the horses. The woman watched Victoria leave and smirked softly before fully vanishing again.
Victoria entered the horses pen and sighed, walking to look at each of them, shhing them to calm them as she walked. All was fine with them and she left, walking out only to pause some in seeing a flash of white in the clear night. She rubbed her eyes and sighed softly. "I must be losing it due to no sleep yet." Victoria whispered before walking onwards back to the castle, going inside to lay down.
Victoria was not aware the flash was the gate that was told of to her by the odd woman. She didn't want to admit that someone who came into her bedroom and vanished by it appeared magic would know anything about logic. Yet down deep inside her being she felt as though the random woman had spoke true points and honest words. Shaking her head Victoria got into bed and laid down, going to sleep soundly. Her window had been closed before she laid down and locked in hopes of keeping the woman out.
Days would pass slowly before the faithful night would come. A storm was rolling into the land, carrying strong wind and rain with lightening and thunder to scare anyone out of their shoes. Victoria helped get the horses into their stalls before leaving and moving into the castle, hearing the thunder. Lightening struck near her as she walked, causing her to scream and jump backwards to dodge the bolt. Quickly she ran, entering the castle as thunder sounded in the sky. The woman from before watched her from a distance and shook her head, arms folded, and vanished once more.
Victoria ran, yelling for guards or anyone to find no one. Panic set in as she ran right into the war room to find some guards with other people. "Oh there you are! We have a problem. Everyone seems to have disappeared from the castle!" She told them with a frantic voice.
"What?" a guard asked shocked and stood. Victoria nodded to him, watching.
"Yes, there is no one else in the castle." She informed.
"That can't be right." He said shocked, moving out to see the people back outside. He turned to the princess then sighed. "I wish you wouldn't make up stories." He said. Victoria stared at him then looked out to see everyone back again. Her jaw fell down in shock.
"I swear there was no one there." Victoria said and the guard nodded.
"Here, why don't I lead you to your study and stand guard to help you know for sure that there are or are not people there? Perhaps you got too hot outdoors riding your horse." The guard stated giving her a soft smile. After some time of her thinking she decided it couldn't hurt to get some relaxing time. She gave a nod to the guard who nodded, leading the way to her study, knowing she was on his heels behind him.
Once there Victoria went in and took down a book, a story she always loved, and sat down with it by the fireplace, reading silently to herself as the guard stood watch outside the door, chatting with maids or servants when they would pass by him. Inside the study Victoria slowly looked up from her book and her eyes widened at seeing a gate was standing in front of her. She stared, slowly standing from the table, watching the new creation in the room.
Victoria watched the gate, the guard not looking inside as he was chatting with a maid. Slowly Victoria neared the gate, staring at it in awe before slowly reaching for it with a delicate hand. Quickly her hand recoiled back to her body before touching the gate's metal bars. Swallowing hard she reached slowly out to the gate, her eyes locked on the gate handle and the keyhole of the gate. The guard chatted before looking in and gasped, racing fast to try and stop Victoria. "No! Princess! Don't!" he cried out. This drew her attention but too late. The room went white as the gate shot open at the touch of her hand gripping the handle of the gate.
Victoria screamed a strong wind blowing as the light engulfed everything and everyone. Victoria floated alone in a white room, facing downwards before she was somehow flipped over and lay on her back, staring up at nothing but a white light. She moved her lips to speak yet no sound came from her lips. She heard a reply in her ears and moved her lips once more in silence, speaking back to the voice. An agreement would be met and her vision would fade to darkness as she felt a strange sensation engulfing her entire body.

- Aw thank you ^^ I hope to write more and I'll have to keep that in mind. ^_^ I love to write and I can see a story as a movie in my head and I just type it how I can see and hear it and feel it. A college professor once when I was looking at a college for like anything free for writing course he told me "you can't write a book and see it as a movie. You have to write a structure out and plan it out." I can't do that and it made him mad I can do it in seeing a movie and make it a book

- It is rather visual. I think you seem to portray it in a way as if it is a movie, it is extremely well written though. Oh, umm... I hope it is not insulting to suggest to you to allow to reader to imagine the story with their own eyes. I mean to say, do not describe what a character feels but rather show what they feel through action, if that makes sense. I hope that you write another part to it sometime, I would love to see how much better you've become n_n
