• Scene 3: Back at the house

    [Elis is slumped in a chair in the living room, an expression of anger on his face]

    Elis: [Sigh] I shoulda seen it from the start.. Lies. As if it wasn’t obvious after the second time.. Or the third… godda-!

    [There is an urgent knock at the door]

    Elis: [Gets up] They better have good news… Mike! Is that you? Kae? Sallie? Who’s there?
    [Upon hearing no reply Elis goes to the door and opens it…there is nobody there. He steps out on to the front porch…Still nobody]
    Hm…
    [He goes back in and shuts the door]

    Cazten: (ambient) Ti es dao, Des ti ul Portales… [He comes into view out of one of the rooms] I have found you! Shadeus Captai!

    [Elis falls to the floor, paralyzed by Cazten‘s spell]

    Elis: (struggling to get it out) Not…Again…Damn…this…paranormal…crap..

    Zae: Elis! [she kicks in the door and tackles Cazten to the ground, Michael and Kae run in after her]

    Kae: [goes over to Elis] Chantu Despa! Mike, get Elis upstairs, Me and my sister will finish this!


    Zae: Kae! Get him for me, will ya?

    Kae: With pleasure! [turns towards them, aiming at Cazten] Portales Deya Ka Na!

    [There is a bright flash of light, when it subsides, Cazten is gone.]

    Zae: And with that, another one of our darker brothers is gone…

    Kae: But at great cost. We need to leave. Your name has been said, Cazten found us… and Elis…

    [Michael runs down the stairs]

    Kae: Mike! Get Elis and anything precious to you, we must leave!

    Michael: What? Why? And what just happened? Who the hell was tha-

    Kae: Just hurry! We will explain once safe! And don’t refer to any of us by name!

    Zae: Kae…I’m sorry…

    Kae: About what? Our brother found us. We must go before Father arrives.

    Zae: He cursed me…[Zae reveals a black symbol on her arm that cazten left just before fainting]

    Kae: Sister!

    [End of Scene] - fade to black
