• My mind was blank.
My eyes felt like they had been sealed shut for ages.
Every muscle in my body was aching.
I didn't remember anything- who I used to be, what I was, where I was.
    "Are you conscious?"
    Her voice startled me.
"Yes...?" My now foreign voice croaked.
"That's wonderful. I'm going to need you to answer some really simple questions for me, okay?"
    "Sure.."
    "What is your name?"
    "H... Haleigh."
    "Last?"
    "Morris."
"How many fingers do I have up?"
    "Two."
    "Now?"
    "Three.."
"Do you know where you are?"
    "Not exactly."
"Bush Memorial Hospital. I'm Dr. Thompson."
It wasn't really the friendliest 'glad to meet you' ever.
"Please sit up. Do you recognize these people?"
I squinted and scanned the room for a familiar face. Two young-faced boys, my brother... My brother? "Zack!" I piped. He grinned and hugged me. "I knew you'd wake up an' remember me."
There was my best friend, Trevor, and a lot of others I didn't recognize. The two boys were in their early twenties, and they had red and black hair. One looked cool with his black sunglasses and his leather jacket. And then there as the emo looking one.. with skinny jeans and snake bites and shaggy, short hair. I was very uncomfortable.
    Imagine that.
