• Rose's long black hair swayed in the wind. "Tell me something...well ya?" She asked quietly and slowly turned around, and looked at me. Her green eyes sparkled when the moon shinned on them.
    "Sure, what?" I asked slowly. She pursed her lips and looked away. My heart sped up.
    "How..." She looked back at me, and our eyes met directly. "How do you feel around me...?" She blushed at the last part. My hands turned to ice and my heart sped up even faster.
    I looked away from her. The grass was a dark green, my black shoes almost blended into the grass.
    "I feel...safe around you." I said breathlessly. I started to fiddle with the hem of my dark blue shirt, nervous to see her expression, but after a few deep breaths I slowly looked up at her. Her green eyes seemed sad and yet hopeful. She took a few steps toward me so that way she was a few inches away.
    "Then why are you nervous?" She asked calmly and took my hands in hers. Her touch was warm and calming.
    "B-because..." I trailed off as she moved her head closer to mine.
    "Don't be nervous...I wont hurt you." She said softly into my ear, then kissed me softly on the lips.
    My heart was like a hummingbird now.
    Rose's lips were soft and gently on mine. I started to kiss back thinking and hoping this night will never end.
