A Ludus (from the Latin word game) is a small infectious agent that inhabits human beings and creates artificial impulses towards playing video games, making infected people 'addicted' to video games. Luduses are too small to be seen directly with a light microscope. All types of mammals are effected by Ludus but only seem to generate effects in humans. Since the initial creation of Pong by Allan Alcorn in 1972, Luduses have been discovered and now described in detail. Luduses are found in almost every ecosystem on Earth and these minute structures are the most dangerous type of biological/mechanical entity. The study of Ludus is known as Ludology, a sub-speciality of microbiology.
Unlike bacteria and viruses, Luduses consist of both biological and mechanical parts: all Luduses have genes made from a combination of DNA and RNA and contain an AC motor, allowing the Ludus to continue to function, all have a thick outer layer of solar panels to provide power. Movement by the Ludus are possible by a combination of magnetic and electric fields emitted by the organism. All Luduses are identical in appearance. Most Ludeses are about one hundred times smaller than an average bacterium and slightly larger than the average virus. The origins of Luduses are unclear. What is hypothesized is that they were created for the sole purpose of addicting children to video games: It is believed that Luduses are able learn and share information by emitting a very unique and high frequencies—pieces of Information can move millions of kilometres in only a few seconds. In terms of science, Luduses are an important means of advancing microscopic robotic technology. To bad their origins are unknown.
Luduses spread in only one way; emitted from the screens of televisions, monitors, hand helds, etc... the Ludus enters the body through the cornea then finds its way to the optic nerve and then its smooth sailing on its way to the brain. Once reaching the brain the Ludus takes its place attaching itself to the frontal lobe. From there it easily manipulates the thoughts of the person to Video Games.
The body takes no attempts to remove the Ludus. The easiest way to explain this process is by saying that the Ludus is like a ninja. In it goes without a trace and if the body does manage to detect it, by then it is to late.
Most common Side effects of Ludus are very easy to notice. They Include red bloodshot eyes, zombie like behaviour when playing Video Games, lack of interest in physical sports, and a decline in social behaviours. Other common side effects include constant diligent interest in Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube.
