- The streets were riddled with evidence of scientific experimentation that the government had just decided to shrug off and not notice. You couldn't turn the corner without a chimera crossing the street in front of you, those poor animals that were transformed against their will into abominations against nature. These monsters came along with the introduction of all chemistry or alchemy as the townsfolk called it. It was one level up from chemistry, the level at which you not only had the perfect understanding of the composition of something but you could use electrical currents transferred from your very own body into circles to transform or reform that composition. This was all within the laws of conservation because you could only use what you already had; you could not make or destroy anything. You could just sort of play around with the stuff. It was meant to help people, to help recreate flesh and bone that had been lost from stepping on land mines that were scattered and left behind after the war of 3094. It was successful but then people started to learn to use it for creating things, bad things. It's been sixteen years after that war and alchemy is illegal all throughout the world but people in small neighborhoods or far off country side villages that had no one to enforce the law could use alchemy whenever they wanted and with no shortage of material. I grew up with alchemy and am one of the youngest Eager Alchemist's in the world, it took me a while to realize it but the only reason the government hadn't come after me until now is because they were the ones training me in alchemy. They want Eager Alchemist's or alchemists that did not have the need for circles to join the army and then they wanted to destroy the anti-all chemistry law to take over a long standing rival. Once I found this out, I ran and now all other Eager Alchemist's of the state of Geofried come after me, the government wants me at any cost whether it be to put me in the military or to study my dead body. I am Methios Aerounda, my state given name is the Grey Skull Eager Alchemist and I must escape so that the corrupt government of Geofried could be taken down and taken over.

- Title: "Eager Alchemist"
- Artist: Orcus Fieres
- Description: This is the start of a short story that was incredibly heavily influenced by the ideas behind FullMetal Alchemist. I feel the plot could have been better myself but i think it's good enough to put here. Anyway comment all you want and give me any kind of comment, even bad. Yeah that's right i can take bad comments unlike others that want all positive, pansies that are afraid they suck...

- I've always wondered what a story based off by FMA's designs would be like. I don't read many stories influenced by animes or mangas, a lot of their writers aren't that good at making the story or plotline interesting. Some just don't give too much thought to it, but it looks like you do.

- If by story format you mean indentation then no, i prefer the look of it not indented but if you mean that there's only one paragraph then it's supposed to be like that because this is like the back part of the book that gives you a summary.
