6 4 . p a p e r s t a r s
He folds paper stars obsessively, dropping each after creating it and letting them carpet the floor around him. Green stars, pink stars, white, gold, red, violet. His fingers work endlessly, tucking and squeezing and dropping and repeating.
She steps in carefully, bewildered by the sight.
“Why are you folding all these stars?”
He turns up and meets her questioning gaze, a grin blooming on his lips.
“I wanted to give you the sky.”

- Description: I like to write drabbles, and what I call 'drabblettes'. A true drabble has exactly 100 words, but I often go over by a little or stay under. So here is a drabblette. I got tons of these. Theme from a prompt list.
