Yura got a head start to leave and made a dash. Jee what's the rush for her, didn't she say earlier for me to slow down? I began walking to my room to end the day like I normally do until halfway there I confronted Kere and Yura. I kept walking past them trying to act like it's nothing but Yura grabbed my shirt collar
"EY! When people are making direct eye contact with you when you walk down a hallway, it's apparent they want to talk to you."
I sighed."Uh..Is it possible for us to hang out in your room for a little bit?" stated Kere, nervously of course
"Ah Kere the hint is not to ASK but DO." said Yura. I was begining to choke a little from pulling against Yura's grip "Hey stop pulling so hard! your'e only hurting yourself dude. What about I make a deal, you bring us to your room and play around and in return, I'll tell you a hint to that big secret.."
I stopped fidgeting ".......Fine. Don't forget that deal Yura." I said. She let go of my collar "PERFECT! C'mon Kere this could be a once in a lifetime chance!"
Kere smiled at me "T-thank you! Is it still to much to ask for your name..?"
Yura had this impish smile "It's Lu-lu!" she joked.
Kere looked at Yura "Uh..really?"
Oh god of course NOT really "No it's Lune." I mumbled.
Kere tilted his head "What did you say?"
I muttered a little louder "It's Lune." Kere must have horrible hearing for an agent, because he asked yet again, but this time Yura joined in "Hey you can talk louder than that, I argued with you enough to know that!"
This time I yelled "Lune, damnit Lune!!" Kere looked a little surprised at my outburst, but of course he was. After all, I never got angry around anyone but Yura
"Sorry about that Kere." I said.
Kere calmed down and nodded "It's fine, I knew you were a little diffrent from people's impressions anyway, so I shouldn't get too surprised."
Well at least he wasn't agreeing with the others "Well what are you waiting for?" I said "My room's this way."
Before I opened the door, I remembered about the east wall.
"Hey, can you let me at least clean a tiny bit before you walk in?"
Yura rolled her eyes "Fine, but don't clean everything now, want to give Kere an idea of what ya do."
Of course I wasn't, it was clean enough, just that wall..I ran In quickly and started washing the word "Why" off my wall. Thank goodness it was only done in lead, ink would be impossible to clean. I managed to completely erase the word in 3 minutes and said it was ok for Yura and Kere to get in. Kere had this surprised look on his face, very surprised. There were mangas all over around the unkept bed on the north side where the only window was located. On the east side there was some cushions I use to sit on while playing games, they were all pretty bright colors. On the west side there was tons and tons of electronics piled over and around the tv, and a Wii under all the mess. Beside that was my labtop on the only table in the room with a cup-o-noodles on it that I had last night, and the only book with nothing but words in my room, "The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy" with a chapter marked near the end. With all this clutter it's surprising not to see a single poster on my walls.
"Wow..nice room Lune!" said Kere.
I scratched the back of my head "Yea it's a little cluttered.."
Yura's eyes sparkled when she saw the wii "Hey lets play wii baseball!!!" she yelled and turned it on. I won by a landslide "...Ok, I'm gettin' payback, turn on air ride!"
I won again but it was a close one "...Ergh, I'll try again after I practice a bit more you no-life."
I smiled "Well it seems I'm good at something other than working eh Yura?"
She made an annoyed face "Shut it."
Kere laughed "So what should we do now Yura?"
She looked over at my computer "...Lets play some games on that!" Yura ran over to the chair with wheels and span in circles "I call the chair! Lets see what we can fin- oh Lune you make stories?"
Drat, more mocking "...Yeah,,"
Yura actully had a serious look on her face while reading "It's pretty good Lune, but I think it needs more, y'now, BAM in there here and there." she said laughing "Well Kere I think we've been here long enough. Better let Lu-lu return to his quiet life. Bye Lu."
I felt a little discouraged when I saw them leave, they did a good job keeping my mind off of the subject.
I might talk to them tomarrow.
This time I was walking through a silent meadow with no wind blowing at all. No trees, no flowers, just grass. After walking a bit I felt an extreme pain in my feet. Though I was frightened, I looked down to see the grass had turned into green tiny blades the shape of grass, but then they all faded away to leave nothing but dirt, and after that..
I'm sorry, I'm not really in the mood to tell you about what happened after that.
I woke up sweating and feeling a little nausea, but I felt better after 5 minutes of calming down. There was no alarm going off today, so that meant no work. Although I could have stayed in my room most of the day, it wouldn't help me remove the dream easily just to play videogames all day, only Yura's arguments can. Right when I walked out my door I saw Yura and Kere "Well we were about to barge in and throttle you till you woke up, do you know how long you've been sleeping?!" stated Yura.
I was too tired to look at the clock when I woke up. I shrugged
"Uh, Lune? The comet festival is today-" it's today? Time really flies "-and we were wondering if you would go with us.."
I nodded "I was planning to go anyways." I replied, then looked at Yura "So what's that hint?"
Yura had a devious smile "Well, it's so out of the ordinary that someone like YOU would never find out. There's your hint." Good enough. Challenging my own memory and facade is fine with me.
"Who's paying for all the food we get?" I questioned.
"Hmm.....well, I couldn't possibly let Kere buy all my stuff, so I'll buy. You better be thanking Kere alot for my mercy on you Lune." Yura stated pointing at me
"Yeah, yeah I get it. Let me change into my festival stuff."
Seeing as how Yura was wearing a kimono and Kere was wearing some pheonix style outfit, I guess anything would do. I found my Karafe villager outfit and supposed it would do. I walked out to see what they would think
"Ah, Karafe villager outfit, nice choice seeing this is the event that happened in that story." Yura said.
Kere looked at the outfit carefully "It looks good on you Lune, not too festive but not too bland." he stated "Well should we be off to get a spot? They fill up quickly.."
"Yeah we should get a spot, but I'm STARVING, I'll meet you guys after I eat some ramen." Yura declared.
"Well Kere, can you go on your own for a sec to find our spot? I'm sorta hungry too..." I said after my stomach growled quietly "I'll be over at the pretzel and onigiri stands if you need me Kere." I walked over to the festival site with them and seperated around the stalls. Before I payed for my pretzel, Yura ran in
"At! I pay for it Lu-lu, don't be throwin' your money around like that or it'll cause attention." Yura ended up paying for my food, then we found Kere at a good spot to view the comet.
Since we got our spot around the morning, there was about nothing to do. After 20 minutes I must've took a nap
"Aw Kere look, Lu with his mouth shut, what a sight. He looks like a squirrel with his hands like that." Yura said laughing quietly.
"He looks quite peacful." Kere stated "Uhm, Is there anything you want to talk about while he's down and out before you leave?" Yura sighed "...Yes."
I finally woke up to hear that Kere finally started a conversation.
He looked over at me "Oh your'e awake, Hey Lune, what elemental type are you?"
Well that was a quick question right off the bat "Ah, normal category mental." Yeah, aka just a smart human with some pk stuff going on
"Oh, that must explain why your'e so smart. I'm a mana category terra, and Yura is a naga category shadow" Kere stated.
I was a tiny bit surprised "Oh your'e a terra Kere? I thought you'd be a light or lightning.."
Kere nodded "Yes I'm always a little mistaken for others, but you can tell by my wings that my decendants were burrow owl race so I'm also a little air element."
Oh....well thats just more confusing, owls are rare.
"Hey there's the comet!" Yura yelled "Wave at it!! Wave at Sola!" Sola? Ah that legend, Yura thinks its true?
"Oh, I wasn't expecting to see Yura there. Well lets give her a hurrah ok everyone?".
The air around us was filled with sparkling dust from the comet. It was a beautiful sight
"Woooooooowww..." all of us said in unison. As much as I tried to catch and look at the dust, I knew it would dissapear on contact. The only thing it didn't dissapear on are plants and water because pure mana dosen't accept pure naga. Once the comet passed, everyone around us seemed sad because such a special day came by so fast.
Kere got up "Well we should be going to bed now.." he said."I'm off, bye Lune, bye Yura." He waved as he left.
Yura then got up "Well It was somewhat fun Lu, I'll be off for a week or so tommarrow so don't be shocked." She chuckled and left.
Well I'm begining to think that theyr'e not that horrible to hang around with, they keep my mind off alot of matters real easily, so I guess I should keep checking on them. I looked down to see Yura's wallet on the ground. "Well I better return it to her" I thought, but I couldn't find her anywhere, so she must've got to the agency by now. I managed to find her room and opened the door
"Hey Yura you lef-" I dropped the wallet and paced back quickly. She had her pj's on, but they didn't seem to cover her lower neck well, which showed a marking.
A marking of one of the three goddeses spoken only in legend.
