- She was beautiful, gorgeous, and exceptional. She had silken blond hair and huge blue eyes that penetrated your soul when you looked into them. She had the body of a dancer; slim, graceful, and seemed to move with the wind. Her voice seemed to carry its own tune, each letter a different note creating the most perfect melody that mortal man could never write. Her white dress flowed beautifully every way she moved. She had all of this beauty, these god-like qualities. But her mind was anything but beautiful and god-like. She was sad. She was locked away in a tower, beaten and raped by a horrendous stepfather on a daily basis. She sits now, staring out her stone window, the only window in her small, broom closet sized room. Perfectly marbled tears slide out of those crystal eyes and roll gracefully down her smooth white cheeks and hit the cold stone floor. She shivered in pain, physically and mentally. The moon glared down at her, and she began to cry harder. Her legs shook as she stood to lean out the window. Looking down, she saw rocky, unforgiving land about a hundred feet down. Her breath wavered as she watched a single tear fall to the ground. She smiled softly to herself, a beautiful smile. “Goodbye.” She whispered just as she slipped over the stone.
